Sell Everything.

You’ve got too much stuff.

Stuff you don’t need. Stuff you don’t use. Stuff you don’t even like that much. And if you don’t do something about it, you’ll find yourself drowning in all the stuff. Think you can’t bear to part with the stuff? That’s bull-stuff.

It’s hard to tell between the stuff you need and the stuff you don’t. So err on the side of don’t. We promise, it’ll be okay.

Your bed? Sleeping on the floor is better for your back. Your refrigerator? Eat fresh food and it’s useless. Your eyeglasses? That’s what squinting is for.

If you think too much, you’ll never get rid of any of the stuff, so stop thinking. Throw caution to the wind, and your television out the window. Better yet, make a quick buck by listing it on Mercari. Don’t think about what you shouldn’t or should sell, download Mercari… and Sell Everything.

Mercari + Netflix

Even Netflix has started using Mercari to declutter.

They’ve gotten behind our message to “sell everything” and have started selling some of their shows on Mercari. Netflix users can click on the missing thumbnail that reads “This title has been sold on Mercari” and they’ll be taken to a landing page that explains further. Netflix apologizes for selling the latest season of your favorite show, but it was just so simple and easy, and if you’ve got things in your life to get rid of, Mercari can help you too.

Can Netflix shows actually be sold through our online marketplace? Probably not. But we did it anyway.

Mercari Art Gallery

Looks like some of the paintings and statues in your city’s art gallery have gone missing too.

When people look at the pedestal or the placard by the missing art, they’ll read “This piece was sold on Mercari.” The gallery was getting crowded and cluttered, so it seems the owners took our advice and started selling.

The art enthusiasts can scan a QR code that takes them to the Mercari app, where they too can sell their things, or perhaps buy a cool new piece of art.
