For my first M-School class, we were tasked with creating a company in the sixteen weeks of the semester that focused on one of the UN Sustainable Development goals. My group connected on a deep care for one topic in particular: Foster Care. After doing Insights and Inspirations research on all things Foster Care, we landed on a project that we believed would make a difference and improve the lives of foster children, even if in a small way.
We created a company called Foster Bears 🧸
We sold teddy bears, and for every bear that we sold, we would donate one to a child in Foster Care. In just sixteen weeks, we were able to donate 85 teddy bears to the Children’s Law Center of California, in addition to raising more than $3,000 for various Foster Care charities.
Our final presentation, in poster form, is below, along with some of my favorite pics.
